A little more about me…
I am a boba tea-drinking, dog-loving UX/UI designer in San Francisco, currently seeking new opportunities with exciting companies and clients.
What inspired me to become a UX/UI Designer?
At my previous work, I assisted patients and doctor offices with transporting medication. The foundation added a new messaging platform to improve communication with patients and doctor offices. When the new messaging platform went live, many patients were confused and flustered navigating through the platform. Even though we thought the new messaging platform would increase efficiency, the platform’s poor navigation design caused issues instead.
From this experience, I learned the importance of usability and accessibility design. I knew I wanted to solve complex problems, come up with solutions that would benefit everyone, and impact the community. That was when I realized that becoming a UX/UI designer is what I want to do!
Working with patients from the foundation has also inspired me to become an empathy-driven designer. I learned to step into someone’s shoes, which has taught me understanding and attentiveness. Overall, I am passionate about solving problems, reaching goals, and creating meaningful experiences.
